Bournemouth University Cafeteria and Coffee Shop

Bournemouth University required a new coffee counter and internet station to enhance the student experience within an existing space. The project also involved modifications to current display units and the server area, all of which needed to be completed within a tight timeframe and with minimal disruption to the university’s daily operations.

Rocare was commissioned to design and construct a new coffee counter and dedicated internet station, carefully integrating them into the existing environment. Alongside the new installations, we carried out modifications to the existing displays and server, ensuring a cohesive and functional layout.

Our team worked to a clearly defined programme, coordinating trades efficiently to meet the five-week delivery schedule. Attention was given to quality finishes, practicality and durability, ensuring the new facilities were fit for high daily usage in a busy university setting.

The project was successfully completed within five weeks, meeting all programme and quality requirements. The new coffee counter and internet station provide a modern, functional and welcoming space for students and staff, while the updated displays and server area integrate seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

The completed works have enhanced both usability and visual appeal, delivering an improved experience within a tight timescale.
