Bournemouth University Wellbeing Centre

Rocare was commissioned by Bournemouth University to deliver a new wellbeing centre, created specifically to support students with mental health services and wider health supporting facilities. The brief required a high quality, functional space delivered with sensitivity and care, while also meeting a tight timeframe and remaining cost effective.

We planned and delivered the build as a fast track project, coordinating trades and materials to keep momentum on site without compromising on quality. The centre was designed and finished to create a calm, welcoming environment suited to wellbeing services, with practical, durable fittings appropriate for daily student use. Throughout, we worked closely with the university team to ensure the space met operational needs and felt right for the people using it.

The new wellbeing centre was completed in just five weeks, providing Bournemouth University with a dedicated, purpose built space that supports student wellbeing and access to essential services. The finished facility offers a professional, reassuring environment that strengthens the university’s support provision and creates a clear, accessible hub for students who need it.
