Bowlplex Branksome

Rocare was commissioned to refurbish and enhance the interior of Bowlplex Branksome, a well used bowling leisure centre. The aim was to modernise the space, improve usability and overall appearance, and bring key areas and services in line with current standards, while keeping the venue’s fun, welcoming feel for customers.

We carried out internal alterations and a layout redesign to improve flow and better separate activities. This included forming new rooms and zones with partition walls, installing suspended ceilings to enhance the look of the space and support acoustic control, and upgrading flooring with hard wearing finishes suitable for a high traffic leisure environment.

Key customer areas were also improved. We refreshed the grill area to modern standards and fully refurbished the toilet facilities, updating fixtures, finishes and layouts to improve comfort and accessibility.

Behind the scenes, we completed a full services overhaul to support the new layout and improve performance. This included rewiring power circuits, upgrading water supplies, improving lighting and hearing support systems, enhancing fire and security installations, and completing necessary ductwork and ventilation works to maintain airflow and comfort.

To strengthen the venue’s presence from the outside, we replaced the existing external acrylic signage, improving visibility and kerb appeal.

Bowlplex Branksome now benefits from a more efficient, modern layout with improved customer flow, refreshed facilities, and upgraded building services that support day to day operations. The refurbishment improved safety and compliance, enhanced comfort throughout the venue, and delivered a stronger visual identity both inside and out. The result is an inviting, practical leisure space designed to perform better for staff and customers alike.
