Rocare was appointed to deliver a comprehensive internal and external refit for Cooperative Financial Services. The brief was to modernise the branch, improve accessibility and customer circulation, and create a professional, efficient environment that meets the expectations of a busy financial services setting.
Externally, we upgraded the approach and frontage to improve access, visibility and overall presentation. Works included the installation of a DDA compliant access ramp, a new electro mechanical entrance door, an upgraded shopfront, prominent fascia signage, and a durable brick plinth to enhance both the front and side elevations.
Internally, we created a refreshed, functional layout tailored to both customers and staff. This included a modern Banking Hall, a counter and till area, a private office, and a mix of open plan and cellular meeting and interview rooms. We also incorporated public seating areas to improve comfort and ease of movement through the space.
On the first floor, we completed staff support facilities including a new kitchen and canteen, storage space, toilets, and a cleaner’s cupboard. A newly installed passenger lift was integrated to support accessibility and improve circulation throughout the building.
The completed refit delivered a more accessible branch with improved customer flow and a stronger first impression from the street. Internally, the new layout supports smoother day to day operations, with better organised client areas and enhanced staff facilities. Overall, the project raised the standard of presentation and functionality, aligning the space with modern financial sector requirements while reducing disruption during daily use.
